Longshaw is famous for its diversity of fungi, being home to over 1000 kinds. The National Trust wanted to engage a much younger audience with its wonderful fungi trails, encouraging children, parents and teachers to consider the estate for days out and school trips.
Using their weird and wonderful colours and shapes, we gave them another life – liking them to the aliens and monsters that occupy the imaginations of our younger audience.
